Area description: The wall is located in Takht-e-Soleyman region*

* Enjoying large numbers of peaks with altitudes of over 4,000 m (the highest peak, Alam Kouh 4,850 m) as well as good amount of snow fall and its gradual melting which lasts until early August, make Takht-e-Soleyman region (located in 200 km NW of Tehran) to be known as the “Alps of Iran".
 

DAY

PROGRAM

1 Transfer from Tehran to Rood Barak village – O/N lodge 9about 5hrs transfer)
2 Transfer to Vandar Bone village (about 10 km) – climb Sar Chal shelter (3,650 m) – O/N shelter
3 Climb Alam Chal (4,200 m) – surveying rock climbing route – O/N camp
4 Climb the glacier (100 m) and up to one length of the rope – descend Alam Chal – O/N camp (for acclimatization and getting ready for the next days climb)
5 Climb Alam Kouh wall (glacier 100 m + wall 550 m) – descend Sar Chal shelter – O/N shelter
6 Descend Vandar Bone – transfer to Rood Barak – O/N lodge
