This itinerary includes visiting 3 historical countries of
Iran, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan which in the
past times were known as the Silk Road route.
While passing this route the clients will visit
the following sites in each country.
IRAN:
Tehran (ancient Ray), Isfahan, Yazd, Shiraz (Pers
Police), and Mashhad
In
Iran part of this journey, we visit the ancient
Iranian history dating back to 8000 years ago. A
sample of this rich Persian history &
magnificent civilization can be visited in Sialk
hills near Kashan, Takht-e-Jamshid (Pers police)
in Fars.
An example of flourishing golden era of Islamic art in
Isfahan and Holy city of Mashhad.
TURKMENISTAN:
Ancient town of
Mary
In Ancient Merv is one of the most significant sites in
Turkmenistan. Ancient Merv consists of a series
of towns each succeeded by another throughout
the course of history. We’ll see: Erk Kala (6
BC) with its citadel, Gayur Kala (3 BC), Sultan
Kala (8-11century AD), Abdullakhan Kala and
Bairamalikhan Kala (15 AD), Mausoleum of Sultan
Sanjar-the last ruler of a great Seljuk Empire
(12AD), Great Kala and Little Kyz Kala (6-7 AD),
and the Mausoleum of Mohammed Ibn Zeid(12 AD).
UZBEKISTAN:
Bukhara, Samarkand, Khiva and Tashkent
In Uzbekistan the travelers will experience both the beauty
of its nature consisting of vast fields which is
known as one of the mains origins of Arian
generation resembling Persian civilization as
well as its 3000 years rich history dating back
to Seljuk and Sassanian eras which still stands
firmly today and beyond themselves tells the
story of their past history which had been full
of chaos. Besides, one can understand the
ancient beliefs of the people of this region, by
paying visit to some remaining monuments such as
mosque, monastery, Buddha temples, the remains
of castles and palaces date back to Mongol and
Timor era.
No doubt this journey can be named as “A Deep
Reflection into History”.
