Tours
to Iran - climbing
more than 30 peaks of over 4,000 m on the central Alborz Mountain
Range
|
|
|
Program
Highlights:
-
The climbing route is on one of the longest ridges of central
Alborz Mountain Range which possesses more than 30 peaks each with the
height of over 4,000 m.
-
Earlier the road of Tehran to the Caspian Sea cut this ridge,
but now by re-starting traffic in a pre built tunnel, the cars go by
that, which as a result has made the road of no use.
-
The climbing route enjoys of countless landscapes such as
valleys, villages and the view of fascinating mountains lying in the
remotes.
-
Wildlife of the region consists of bear, red sheep, wild goat
and panther.
-
Plant covering can be rarely seen from 3,500 m to high
altitudes.
-
Since the average climbing up and down in a day is about 10
hrs, so the climbers besides possessing good stamina should have the
experience of these types of climbings as well.
-
Porterage is not possible in
the climbing route, but it is possible to access the road through the
different paths on the ridge
